Where We Are

The Fattorie Inghirami Agriturismo embodies the essence of an authentic farm stay, located in the heart of the Tuscan countryside. Unlike many farmhouses situated near urban centers, Fattorie Inghirami offers a genuine rural experience, far from the noise and hustle of the city. Here, guests can immerse themselves in the tranquility and beauty of the natural landscape, living in harmony with nature and enjoying everything a true agriturismo has to offer.

To reach our agriturismo, you will need to take the road known as “della Zambra.” During the journey, you will encounter approximately 4 km of dirt road, part of a total 9 km route. We know this requires a bit of patience, but we assure you that it will be worth it.

If you love unspoiled nature and authentic places, you will be enchanted by the landscape that unfolds before you as you cross the countryside of Volterra. Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by an avenue lined with traditional, centuries-old Tuscan cypress trees, the symbol of our land. We are confident that, at that point, you will feel rewarded for every small sacrifice made to reach us.

Our Surroundings

“Below, you will find our recommendations for exploring the surrounding area within an hour’s drive. With this itinerary, you’ll have the perfect amount of time to make the most of your stay and discover the wonderful nearby villages. Get ready for an unforgettable adventure!”

8 km - 21 min

Volterra

Surrounded by two defensive walls, one Etruscan and the other medieval, Volterra is one of the most important centers in Tuscany for its monuments, which testify to 3000 years of civilization, and for its craftsmanship of alabaster. Volterra has not yet been touched by the stress of modern life, and visitors who come here immediately feel as though they are stepping back in time.

35 km - 50 min

San Gimignano

Visible from any direction, its numerous medieval towers stand out, with thirteen still remaining today. It is said that in the 14th century there were 72 towers, at least one for every wealthy family. The amazement continues as you pass through one of the city gates and walk along the quiet streets lined with ancient buildings.

36 km - 43 min

Marina di Cecina

Just a few kilometers from our property, you can reach the so-called "sea of Volterra" from Vada, passing through Bibbona and Cecina. Don't miss the vast coastal pine forests and the beautiful free beaches. For those looking for fun, Cecina also features a water park full of exciting attractions.

43 km - 60 min

Certaldo

Also just a few kilometers from our property, Certaldo is a charming town that offers a glimpse of authentic Tuscany. This medieval town, famous for being the birthplace of the poet Giovanni Boccaccio, is a must-see. You can wander through its narrow streets, visit the historical center, and take in the stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

49 km - 58 min

Monteriggioni

Siena has long attracted tourists for its splendid monuments and numerous masterpieces housed in its museums. Famous for the much-anticipated event of the "Palio," a tradition that began in 1644 and continues without interruption, it takes place twice a year, on July 2nd and August 16th. The Palio is a real challenge between horses and jockeys representing rival districts. Monteriggioni, a small fortified village near Siena, is the perfect place to explore the medieval Tuscan atmosphere.
